Wednesday 20 August 1980

The cartoon tells about the day of the Finnish Seppo in Stockholm on August 20, 1980. He was just returning to Finland from Copenhagen, where he had been to Joan Baez’s concert. On the way back, he stopped in Stockholm, where he visited Klubb Timmy for the first time, participated in a demonstration and met his home goddess Joan Baez.

The cartoon was exhibited at the Helsinki City Museum’s M/C Baltic Queers exhibition, curated by Kalle Hamm and Antti Järvi, from 15 November 2024 to 2 March 2025, which told about LGBT+ migration in the Baltic Sea region.
