Rich Man, Poor Man, Beggar Man, Haram presents three comic stories of the everyday life of Muslim homosexual men. Kamran is in desperate need of money, but he isn’t quite sure how to make some money. On the other hand, Kazim thinks women really do cause bad luck. Farzan knows how to use a smartphone, but actual communications still require some practice. Kamran’s story (Business, Business) is set in Istanbul, Kazim’s (The Woman Who Was Passed) in Iran and Farzan’s (Good on Tinder) in the Nordic countries. All the characters and events of the comic album are based on true stories.
