Other-Than-Human

Other-Than-Human is the first LP released by the Band of Weeds in 2017. All the tracks are based on the recordings from three weeds: mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), northern dock (Rumex longifolius) and creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense) – all ancient introductions in Finland. They are also unwanted invaders in human-controlled settings like farms fields, lawns and gardens, and often described by the terms such an aggressive spreader, a severe allergen and a dreadful weed.
